Holy moly that does look like sandpaper was used.

Yep, I saw may dealers wash bay and they were using big broom type brushes. I've always told the dealer vacuum only. The one time I forgot they must have used a steam cleaner or very high powered water blaster as got the tail light condensation problem and had never had it before.

I agree with the others. Go to a detailer although you could try and get the dealer to pay for it since they stuffed the paint.

Same crap happened to me today. They washed it without telling me...and now I have swirl marks galore. It was completely pointless because I had just washed my car the day before. Guess they just wanted to mess something up.

Same crap happened to me. Why the hell do dealers suck so bad at washing cars? I assume because the help they hire is not qualified or just does not car. I had to buff mine out as well.

I always bring my car in spotless. Wash wax night before and if anything gets on it over night quick detail those spots. The only dealer wash I had was Pre Delivery and whatever they didn't wasn't aggressive because there was still tape residue from the shipping wrap and no swirls I could see. Also do you own maintenance so you don't have to be at the dealer much if at all.

It's one thing to do your own maintainance and it's another thing to need parts replaced.

What did they fix? I had to have mine in 3 times for warranty. They were ****s about the warranty work so I was a **** to them and they didn't wash it. I also brought it in clean though.

I went in for a third fuel pump. I need to go back for a new set of window seals too. When I was in Daytona, I had to change both tail lights, but that was such a pleasant experience compared to here.

Ouch, sorry to see this!

Are they replacing the window seals under warranty? My seals look like they are starting wear down too...

They replaced them a few months ago so I don't see that being an issue. It isn't about how they look. When you roll the window up, is their water on it? If yes, then the seals are letting water into the door. And yes that's all warranty.

I've had this happen many times at all kind of dealers from different makes and models.

Even put a note on steering wheel and key.
