TRD Fully Loaded - official TRD86

Took delivery today 30th November of my fully loaded TRD86

I originally ordered dark grey in mid June 2012 but Toyota New Zealand stuffed up and didn't tell me there was no dark grey available for me until after they had sold to subsequent people all of the other colours except red.

To their credit they agreed to sell me a red GT86 (same as Oz GTS86) and sign up a second agreement trading it in for full purchase price for when my dark grey arrived. So, three months to the day later, 5,300km and three track days in the red GT86 and finally traded in today on my fully loaded official TRD86.

It is officially TRD number 4 in New Zealand. Only 9 were built.

The TRD stuff may be expensive but I love it.

So, it has been a long wait but here she is:

Update: Current look May 2015 with Weds SA10R wheels and Toms tail lights

She includes all of the "standard" TRD upgrades for an authentic New Zealand TRD of:
1. Full Front Bumper

9. Michelin Pilot 225/40 R18 tyres
10. TRD Start Button
11. TRD valve caps for tyres
12. TRD Sports Oil Filter

Then, I ticked all of the other TRD options I could get at the time (or have added now!) including:

2. TRD Stabiliser (sway bar) set
3. TRD Coilovers with recommended 15mm drop
4. TRD chassis rigidity kit
5. TRD Shift Knob
6. TRD Fuel Cap Cover
7. TRD Door Stabilisers

And, after all that I added:
1. Tints
2. Paint and fabric protection (Gardx)
3. Personalised slimline plate

Then, after delivery from dealer I have added:
4. Armrest
5. Monster Sport Mats

19. TWS T-66F 18x9" +44 wheels in gloss black with Nitto NT01 245/40/18 tyres for track
20. Toms clear black tail lights
21. STM oil cooler

I ticked so many options and have added so many TRD parts I may have forgotten some in the lists above!

Here's the full gallery of build and the final product:

Forgot to mention - it even has the TRD valve caps for the tyres...

Realised there's four TRD parts I didn't get so got three of them on the courier today and have installed two tonight.
TRD Shift knob and TRD fuel cap cover.

I've also installed Monster Sport Mats as the OEM ones wear out so will keep them for resale (if ever!)

1. TRD Shift know - weird it doesn't come with the TRD upgrade

2. TRD fuel cap cover

Also have the sound changer kit but waiting on the instructions from @Nafe

3. Monster Mats

Installing Rally Armor mud flaps tomorrow.

Looks fantastic, thanks for sharing.
Wish I could add all that TRD goodness to my car but alas the Minister for War and Finance would throw a hissy fit to end them all.

Very nice car. I usually dont like the dark grey color, but with the TRD kit it just looks awesome.

However, you missed out one very important TRD Part - The TRD Sound Changer ;-)

May I ask whats the price over there for the TRD Package? In Switzerland they priced the TRD Parts so high, you could almost buy another GT86 for it.

Got the sound changer on order!

Also, thought it would come with the TRD shift knob but didn't so might have to add that too. Then I think I'm TRD'd out except for the gauges and seats that I have no interest in although woul like an oil temp gauge.

The TRD stuff does have a premium although personally it seems the brakes, wheels and coilovers that have the steepest markup.

The brakes here are about approx US$8k, the wheels (excl tyres) US$3,500 and the coilovers about US$2,800.
