Heh, when I lived in NY I bottomed my tranny in down town manhattan on a stock height civic, had to get a new one.

What's your reasoning for going with stiffer spring rates? Factory springs are just fine for daily driving purposes.
I did't say 'oem lenght' I said stock height - that is car sitting at the same height on stiffer springs as the car on oem springs. I hope it's clear now.

Are you implying that all people who DD their cars and install coils or springs do it only because they think lowered car looks pretty?

maintain OEM static geometry

maintain OEM damper travel (for optimal damper operation and comfort)

if spring balance is maintained, car balance is maintained while increasing weight transfer speed (response) and increasing roll resistance.

i'd want something like this...

Well in that case why not just go balls out and do something like Robispec where he's dropped 3" and maintains OEM geometry and travel. Oh wait, I forgot not all of us have like 5k laying around to dump into that :P

Ground control sleeve kit may work... Cheap... And I think you can order whatever spring rates you want.
