Because they dont really do anything. They are called a "feel good" mod, it just changes the feel of the pedal, get the same effect by just mashing the gas pedal. There are some that alter the single so it can have a faster response http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=750863 But using some like what greddy offered I felt nothing (not used in the FRS but in a 370z)

Just one quick note about this. If you're thinking about it, but you also think you might want to go forced induction, keep your stock flywheel. It's a better marriage for FI since that flywheel momentum helps keep boost from falling off between shifts.

Flywheel Weight
Excellent point! One has to always look at ones goals and future plans. I'm reminded of the guys who ditched their cat converters for $200 on the internet only to discover they needed them two years later to pass their first non-exempt emissions test. New they cost $1500 and folks were buying them for $200 and selling them for scrap for $900. Make a plan!

Are you sure your driving an 86? If so have you driven other cars. Stock throttle response sucks.

Compared to my truck, the throttle response is very snappy.
