those controllers are all bs.

Because they dont really do anything. They are called a "feel good" mod, it just changes the feel of the pedal, get the same effect by just mashing the gas pedal. There are some that alter the single so it can have a faster response http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=750863 But using some like what greddy offered I felt nothing (not used in the FRS but in a 370z)

Just one quick note about this. If you're thinking about it, but you also think you might want to go forced induction, keep your stock flywheel. It's a better marriage for FI since that flywheel momentum helps keep boost from falling off between shifts.

Completely different product from a different company for a different car, that is a pretty long line to draw.

feel free to read up and watch the videos of the avo unit... You can tell it is working straight away by looking at the feedback via obd2.

Excellent point! One has to always look at ones goals and future plans. I'm reminded of the guys who ditched their cat converters for $200 on the internet only to discover they needed them two years later to pass their first non-exempt emissions test. New they cost $1500 and folks were buying them for $200 and selling them for scrap for $900. Make a plan!

Wow... That is a lot of weight you took of that drive train! Do you have any issues with idle or CEL's? I am wanting to go that route but am afraid of running into issues.
Nope i havent ran into any idle issues that were out of the ordinary or had me concerned. Only CEL i ran into was ignition coils after running the vehicle on the track all day. But man its a joy to ride as a daily driver, i have eibach springs and the ride comfort as greatly increased also, now its just an all around fun and exciting as well as comfortable ride everywhere, Where as before it was a harsh ride, slow acceleration, and the transmission had me pissed off everytime i drove my car.

Compared to my truck, the throttle response is very snappy.

i havent yet. i cleared the code and i havent had any CELs pop up since then, when it popped up the car still acted like normal and i didnt have any drivability issues what so ever. I will address the issue eventually but for right now it doesnt bother me nor affect my driving at all

It doesn't suck. It's typical drive-by-wire, but still very snappy. Reset the battery, that's sucky throttle response.
