Second what Greg^^ said. Tarminator will remove just about any pita glue or adhesive.

My detailer just told me he that he cant find the 3M adhesive remover, duplicolor, or tarminator stuff over the shelf anywhere. This is a lot more trouble than i was hoping for.

Interior supply shops stock a Citrus based adhesive remover for removing contact cement and other stubborn glues. It won't hurt the clear coat on your car either. Spray on a clean microfiber and work small sections at a time. Any place that sells vinyls, leathers, suede, foam, glue, etc for interior work on cars will stock the spray. It's safe for use on alcantara and other interior materials as well so hang onto it for next time you get something nasty stuck on a seat.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys. There was no 3M stuff to be found around here, and I didnt want to wait 3 days for them to hazmat ship it.
Me and my friend went to the shop he works at and got some Dupont bug and tar remover and some plastic scrapers. We were able to remove most of the adhesive with this, but there was still a bottom layer remaining that wouldnt scrape off. We ended up getting some Five Guys to eat, came back, and finished off the job with a lot of scrubbing with microfiber cloths. It took a while, but it worked! Opticoating has been rescheduled to next Sunday, thanks for all your help.

I disagree with this statement, never had a problem. The chemist for Opti Coatings has never stated there would be a remote problem of sorts. Cheers, Greg

It is likely that the way the clear bra was taken of is the reason for the adhesive to be remained on the paint. You need to pull up and towards you for the best results, if you pull it back on its self you can have this same problem.
Cheers, GREG
