It's fine as long as you stay away from any wax with petroleum based solvents in it. You should consider using a good synthetic sealant on the clear bra, and then topping it with a good carnauba wax.

You want to stick with colorless synthetic waxes/sealants. I've read many contradictions in petroleum distillates, but I hear products containing it can prematurely yellow clear bras. I have been using Klasse High Gloss Sealant (100% Acrylic) on my clear bra, so far so good.

I did not buy their brand of sealant. I searched several detailer forums for reviews and recommendations of their product and didnt see many. Instead, I bought Black Fire Wet Diamond. I wanted to get Wolfgang, also.
After rereading posts above me, the colorless sealant seems like a good idea. Premier did not offer lifetime warranty for yellowing on white cars. Last edited by BRZY; 09-27-2012 at 12:41 AM. |

Not according to this. http://www.xpel.com/products/xpel-ul...-questions.asp
"Can I wax the film when I wax the rest of the car?" Unlike most paint protection films on the market, XPEL ULTIMATE Paint Protection film can be waxed and sealed just like your paint. Though XPEL Flawless Finish Paint Protection Film Sealant is still the preferred product, Any automotive wax or sealant may be used.
