Yup, OE brakes and rotors on this car are crazy long life. And after you DIY a pad swap once you'll never pay anyone to do it again, it's dirt simple. Maybe $100 might be worth it if you're super lazy, that's an hour of shop time, but >$200 is crazy money for what the job is.

I'd still be on my OE pads at 54k miles if I hadn't roasted them at the track, they stopped about as good as chalkboard erasers after that.

Not that OE pads/disks are of crazy long life (they are normal street ones, nothing special), but rather owners using those mostly just daily drive, which is waaay less wear then if brakes had been abused on track. Owners that frequent track days often enough quickly wear down stock ones & from then on more often then not as next pads/fluid/disks(or even BBK) turn to aftermarket for more performance. Use OEM pads on track and they will wear down as fast if not quicker then aftermarket ones, i see no extra "long life" in them, it's all about how one uses them. Aftermarket should also last very long if feathered in daily driving only.
