I had the time being off problem for a little while but it fixed itself after a day or two. If you're in an accident it cant hurt to say the time and date out loud for the camera anyway just to be clear.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and buying this.

Does anyone know whether all the wiring (along with the Power Magic Pro) will get too cluttery?

How would one go about setting this up?

Oh yeah, Sorry forgot to update this. Yeah I got it in. It's not too shabby, can't read plates when the cars moving but if I pull up to someone at a light it can read the plate perfect fine. I got no complaints about it, theres no lag, doesn't skip or anything. Can't complain at 70 bucks.

Edit: I'll try an upload a video to Youtube and post the link here. been super busy with school recently tho.

$3-4 a piece? how much is a lens?

I am also considering a dash camera, still only considering something like this one

The keychain cameras are cool, and dirt cheap, but not meant to function as a dashcam. I wouldn't recommend them as a dashcam for a number of reasons (battery life, quality, limited recording capacity, etc)

I also have a Garmin DashCam, one of the better options on the market and it records in 1080. Well worth the money IMO.
