What to use on the dash and other cabin plastics
I was wondering what others are using on their dash and other plastics in the cabin. I haven't used anything yet but it's going to start to get hot here and I want to put something on. Suggestions?

Just throw up a sun shield. Most of those "protectants" do anything but. The cleaners are usually fine though.
Oh yeah, tint your windows!

I like Vinylex. It cleans nicely, provides UV protection and doesn't leave too much of a sheen.

I use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer on all of the plastics and dash. Doesn't provide protection, but it cleans great.
For UV protection, I've heard nothing but good things about 303 Aerospace Protectant. |

303 aerospace is some of the best stuff you can use, cut it with some water if you please.

To clean, try 1Z c-o-c-k-p-i-t premium, it's a pretty well known product among detailers.
For protection, 303 aerospace protectant is the way to go! If you need protection for fabric, try 303 fabric guard as well, that stuff is AMAZING. |
