That flattening out is what I always wondered about on the dynos I've seen thus far. Mike's tune is the only pumpgas one I'm aware of that kept a somewhat linear HP progression all the way to redline. So long as he can take care of that hiccup, this would be the ideal plot for this kit on pumpgas, IMHO.

I wonder if the other tuners ran into the same hiccup and just dealt with it by leveling off somehow? I'm no tuning expert so I'm talking out of my ass here.

I don't believe Vortech offers an 8psi pullley. The minimum is 9.5 or something like that.

We were reading 8.3 at 7400, one spike to 8.7 but it was cuz the revs went to 7600

Maybe I got robbed on the pully, and it's 2mm wider then normal... We never saw 9psi the entire night.

We kept getting a dyno that looked just like that, limiting the car to 238-245 HP, then he did his magic scoot scoot, and well you see.

238-245 HP you mean (I hope!)

Need magic scoot scoot - two of the big ones, by tonight!

Yeah whoops, 238-245, doing the jagged dance from 6500-7400.

Btw I should note that the boxer rumble, from the borla UEL is only present at idle now, as soon as I get on it, it's all but gone, kinda saddens me really.

Also does anyone remember that thread that had the multi purpose gauge mounted into the driver side air vent? I need a hard mounted afr gauge besides the one feeding the car and I'd like something like that where its a clean install.

Too much emphasis is placed on these dyno plots.

I believe that statement was said incorrectly, "too much emphasis on these dyno numbers". the plot is the only thing you can truly compare.

Then again we are comparing dynojet to dynojet...

Agreed. Unfortunately, on a car forum such as this, it's really the only baseline we can all agree on short of everyone getting together and letting each other drive their cars.
