No worries! Didn't take it that way. I think sometimes we get a little too caught up with wheel weights- I'm not going to be competing at any serious level and in reality reducing this driver's weight will save more time around a track/course than a pound on my wheels!!!!

When I finally get around to removing a wheel/tire I'll weigh it and post it here again for all those weight weenies out there.

I ended up using a 17x8 wheel with the same size 225/45 after seeing your pictures....

These look nice. They would look good on a silver car as well.

TSW Interlagos

17 x 8 / 35 offset (sq.) TSW Interlagos Wheels / Mich PSS 225/45/ZR17 / Stock suspension

Temperatures are on the rise in SW Washington... so finally swapped OEM out... snow tires will eventually go on OEM wheels.

Left-rear

Left-rear

Props to the Discount Tire in Lacey... they had me in and out in 30 minutes... and it might have been quicker, but once the rig was up on the hoist, most of the staff suddenly had something "to do" at that hoist. Cost: $0 -- what better way to start a Saturday?

Observations: With a bit of reduced weight (per wheel) and the stickier tires... acceleration (1st, 2nd) is a bit more fun... and the difference in turns is every evident (over OEM)... sticks even better in the hard, aggressive turns. Liking this setup a lot!

EDIT (7/2/14): Installed coilovers and dropped. The +35 still works fine.
