Thanks for sharing! I think you made a great choice. The Interlagos design is so clean and simple that it looks like a classy OEM wheel. In fact, did you notice Mercedes puts wheels on the SLS AMG that look nearly identical, except for having an extra spoke?

Love Interlagos, not sure why so many go with the other rotary forged tsw's over these.

Exactly!!! I wanted clean and classy. I didn't notice about the AMG wheel- good observation! Thanks!

I also like how the Interlagos in a 17" wheel looks more like an 18". I wanted more side wall for our awful pothole ridden streets here!

I totally agree. I love the Interlagos over the Nurburgring...

For the above car is it lowered at all or is that still factory setup?

Here's a quick photoshop I did for Firestorm.

looks good on red too!

My car is still on a stock suspension- definitely needs coilovers.

Agreed on both counts! I'm pricing them now for my firestorm FRS. Just got the Tein coilovers too for the install.

Great wheel! Wish they offered it in gunmetal or matte gray.

Nice to see a different wheel choice...any idea on weight per wheel?

Thanks! Unfortunately the tire place didn't have a scale before they mounted the tires. I picked one up and they are pretty light- probably 17-18lbs? But more than light they should be pretty strong since they are rotary forged which is important to me.

TSW says the Interlagos in 17x8 starts at 17.1 lb with variation due to offset and number of bolt holes: www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_interlagos.php

A TSW distributor told me that the Interlagos with a 5x100 bolt pattern weighs...
18.15 lb for 17x8 +35
17.25 lb for 17x8 +45

It's interesting that one could save almost a pound per wheel by running the higher offset.

Thanks, that's about what I figured for weights. Yes, you can save 0.9lbs per wheel, but it doesn't look as good on the car with the wheels flush. :D

Of course, practically, the lower offset gives you more clearance from the springs.

I understand that weight could be only one decision factor out of many, and I certainly didn't mean to question your choice. I just thought some people might be curious about the trade-off between various offsets. I think the wider wheels and lower offsets, although heavier, often bring a nicer curvature to the spokes. Anyway, your guess was impressively accurate!
