I'm getting very curious about this kit!
After some more research this really seems like the kit to buy for a track car & dd. I have a few questions: 1) What PSI is your dyno on page 1? 2) Why is the dyno on page 1 ~15 whp lower than, for example, the drift office tuned car at ~5.8 PSI (that resulted in ~245whp)? That car was done on 91 octane as said in that thread, so I'm a little confused. Is 15whp from simply fine tuning, or more PSI, or..? 3) Do you guys offer a "track ready" kit? Will this kit come with adequate cooling to run this car at a track for hard 45 minute sessions? 4) How hard/how much time would it take to "reverse" this turbo kit? (Just the turbo & header, and plugging up any vacuum lines, etc.) Just curious on how hard the overall process for this would be, it doesn't look to hard as everything seems concise and easy to reach correct? The only major item looks to be simply the turbo + header right? 5) Do you offer any e85 tunes and/or dynos? Has this car been tested with e85? I'd probably go Visconti at that point but just curious what you guys offer Thank you very much! Your definitely the top competitor in my mind at the moment for forced induction, when the funds allow... |

While we have run the kit on the track for extended periods without issues on our car in Japan, I will note that it was near to/at the limits of the standard cooling at that point. But then, from testing data we retrieved from some n/a cars at the same event, even in n/a form it's close to those limits. If you are going to do extended track time, an oil cooler is definitely recommended. A more efficient radiator will help as well. But the key word there is efficient. A larger radiator may take a bit longer to get too hot - but once it is too hot, it can also stay too hot longer than a smaller radiator. Quote:

I'm getting really excited now, lol. Sounds perfect. And I definitely see the track testing you guys have done, I've been casually following your posts for a while and its very impressive to hear how well its doing. I know others have tested the Vortech supercharger kit and have noted a lot of cooling problems from that (stock) so I'm very glad AVO is holding up well. My power levels I'm looking at are ~300whp with e85. So somewhere under 10psi (with e85) I hope. Of course, that will need fueling upgrades, clutch, and cooling but I'll be doing a oil cooler and upgraded radiator at that point. Would that be sufficient at that power level? Have you tested any cars with your kit at the track with similar boost/power levels? I wish more people were doing testing with this kit and e85 I don't think I've seen one dyno yet ![]() By a "fairly quick job" can you give me a rough hour quote on that? I know I'm demanding but this is a very important factor for me in my choice of turbo kit . There's plenty of reasons and I need this to be reversible to stock whenever I need to/want to. Under 4 hours would be ideal.Thank you very much! Great customer support
