Not like Toyota would replace the tints even if I could get them to fix it so whats the point I guess. Just another trait of the car to get used to.

Getting this issue looked at at the dealer as we speak. I have tint, and the scratch is on the inside messing up my tint.

UPDATE: so the dealership is beyond useless. They said they never heard of this window scratch issue, and it's not on any TSB, so they won't do anything. They just gonna document this and send to Subaru...

There are multiple other threads detailing this as an issue with the felt pads inside the door coming off and scratching the windows. Take it back to the dealer and thump them in the head for not taking a closer look.
Just because no one else has reported it, doesn't mean it isn't a problem for you.

Too many new cars owners here, it's just like the countless posts of people posting their bumpers and hood with paints chips and dings or curbs rashes... It's called having a car and driving it.

i'm probably not gonna go back to this dealer. They don't seem to be aware with all the common issues that people are having. They're not even aware of the chirping issue...
I'll leave it for now, if it gets worse, i'll go to another dealer.

i don't know what you're talking about. My family have had 4 brand new cars. We don't buy used cars, but never had a car with stupid issues like scratching its own window.

Yeah same here. My parents bought 3 new cars within 2 years and somehow my car is the only one with a random scratch on the window..

I think he means, with out saying, it's funny to hear people bitch over the most minor of things..
Bubble wrap, a filter climate controlled building, store your car, and you'll never get another scratch or have another issue

Rash, chips, and scratches i can agree with despite how much easier they appear to occur versus other new cars we bought (referencing rock chips really) but a window scratching itself is not wear and tear when the car has 10k on it. That's just poor design.

I have 0 problems with the frameless windows on my 06 LGT.

My BRZ windows squeak when wet and sticks in freezing weather but no scratches. I usually clean the windows and the rubber seals when I wash my car.

Have you had the TSB (or the SSB or what ever they call them) done for the updated seals? Worked wonders for mine.

I've got two sets of big scratches on my driver's side window. I don't think I'm going to have any luck getting anything fixed, I've already tried a few times.

I'm also getting a nasty clicking sound whenever the door is opened. Not having any luck getting that taken seriously either.
