LOL. If your watch is water proof and you don't dunk it in water at least once a day you're not getting the most out of your watch. If you take a drink and don't get falling down drunk you're not getting the most out of alcohol. Not every one wants to get the most out of every thing.

I have an AT. Nothing wrong with how I wanna spend my money. Or how you wanna, either. ^_~

Was the girl cute? You could've offered her a ride in your car to check out the feel and looks of the car close up--and if she was nice, too, maybe even offer her some MT lessons. Maybe in a back-up car and not your FRS if you're not comfortable letting a n00b drive it.

Instead, you probably made her feel bad about not being able to drive MT or later just think you're a DB for poo-pooing her desire to join our community--even if it is in a transmission you deem inferior.

*edit: Also, the Gen Coupe is big. And not nearly as pretty as the FRS. Nor is it anywhere near as special.

The quotes I got were quite a bit less for a fr-s/brz compared to a civic. Plus most people won't be drifting into corners. For one it's not advisable to do that on the street (most people can't drive well). Don't start telling people they need to do that to enjoy the car (I don't want my insurance to go up because dumb fucks are drifting on the street).

A year?! This is actually my first manual and it took me about a month to be 100% confident with hills.

My insurance on my FRS is only $20 more a month than my 2002 Ford Taurus. Hoping it always stay less than $100/month.

People constantly ask what car this is. The Toyota logos really throw them off too. I've been called out at red lights, gas stations and the interstate. My favorite is the couple who slowed down on the interstate to seriously look at the car. His wife was looking at it harder than him.

A lot of car enthusiasts ask about how this car drives. All I can say is... GREAT!

Some ricer douchbag (110% sure) at the light was asking if it has turbo in it.... dude, read some articles..

Anyways, most people like looking at my car. Even kids in my neighborhood give thumbs up to my car, haha.

So far, I love how people still have interest in FRS/BRZ.

All that aside, I kinda like the way the stripe running from the fender vent to the back looks. It looks much better than the wider ones that match the size of the insert at the front end.

Maybe some phase shifted/broken line thing that would indicate speed as if the logo was leaving a trail behind it.

I work at a major movie studio in L.A. and people always ask me what it is even though I see at least one other FR-S/BRZ in the area a week!

I work at a body shop and every tech keeps asking me if I've opened it up yet. A lot of them are surprised to learn that it's rear wheel drive since they see the Scion badge. Then when I tell them the car has a boxer they get even more confused. The fact that I went from a $15,000 compact to the FR-S has people thinking I also started making a lot more money suddenly too. It's pretty cool to suddenly get a lot of attention for my car.

You should have seen the looks I got when i was testing out my Stig helmet on the highway... people slowing down to take pics.. classic.
