After 8 months my racquetball buddies finally notice the frs is mine at the club.
They go you drive that sports car! I said ya, it is fun as heck. After some banter including the fact its not very fast, one goes "It looks like the fastest damn car sitting there" lol

A lot of compliments from strangers and co workers, but the best one was from my mom. Glad I made her proud.

This morning as I was parking my car, the parking garage attendant (in his late 60's) looked at me all excited and asked me how many Camaros I had taken down with it. I told him it wasn't very fast in a straight line. I explained that I bought it for curves (i.e., autocross/track), but I lost him somewhere along the way. He just kept starting at the car and muttering, "Not fast in a straight line, huh."

LOL. I guess it wouldn't make much sense to me either if I wasn't a car guy.

I picked up my friend once and his neighbors that are about 12-13 year old kids got off their skateboards, pulled out their phones and started taking pictures.
made my morning

edit: there's also countless muscle cars that have that whole "come race me" attitude...

I had a guy in a miata tell me that my car looks nice, right off of the offramp of the 237. I was driving to work from lunch -- it felt good getting a compliment for once from a total stranger.

It was a great feeling taking pictures with my parents next to the car when I bought it without their assistance. They raised me pretty well.

People from all different ages have love my car. Ive had some older people think it was an expensive exotic. everywhere I go people just turn to look at the car. I dont know if its the car, styling ive added or wide wheels but it def gets some heads turning. Ive posted a thread below to see pics of the car. Let me know what you guys think. Feed back good or bad would be great.

This past weekend, an older guy in his Lexus LS next to me at a stop light, rolled down his window, waved and yelled at me to open up my window. Shouted at me: Beautiful car and great color! Then went on to ask: Is it rear wheel drive? I replied: yes!

He gave me TWO thumbs up and slowly accelerated onto the highway ramp so I could merge in front of him.

I got a couple thumps up from other drivers in the last couple days. One from a very young guy in a 2012 BMW 335 couple last evening and this morning from an older man driving a van. Can't keep their eyes off my car. Can't remember all but i have been received many good complements about this car. Love it. BTW the cricket noise has been gone for a week so which makes me more confident to roll down my windows and turn off my music to enjoy my exhaust sound. LOL

I was at the dealership and a guy and his wife was looking at my FR-S I overheard the conversation he was saying to his wife this is the one I want till they walked around to the rear and he told his wife oh this is someone's car there's a tag on it. Anyway I walked over and told him it was ok to look the car over good and I also let him set in the FR-S.

There was no FR-S for sale at the dealership to even look at so maybe me being there helped him out and it made me feel good at the sametime.

I was buying groceries at the usual store and the cashier girl asked me if I liked the FR-S. I said it's just as good as the most positive reviews, and I'm totally happy with it. She said she wants to buy it within a year. I asked her if she could drive stick, and she said no. So I told her she needs to drive stick for two years before getting FR-S, and she seemed a bit down. Then I asked her if shes tested one and she said no. I thought about offering her a ride, but couldn't muster up the nerve, and the woman behind me was probably getting upset, so I grabbed the bags and ran.................

Wuss lolz. J/k nice try though. I don't think you need two years of stick before hand. I'm going on a few months.

It seems NO ONE knows what this car is, that is about all I have noticed other then how people stare as people do.
