A properly installed kit, with a good tune, then lets see what bagging on the car and launch it does for wear and tear.
everything on mine was installed correctly. just no gauges installed at the time

You don't want UEL manifolds on a turbo. Also, I'm pretty sure the turbo and the entire system will negate any sound you get from an UEL manifold and regular exhaust.

I think the main thing to keep in mind here is that there is a small variance in performance (which is where I think he is getting to) but it's so minimal, that you wouldn't notice it in most driving conditions and power levels.

Yeah, there is a difference no denying that, but as you say not a deal breaker. But, Turbo drowning out the UEL rumble? Flat out wrong. (no pun intended).

Every oem USDM forester/WRX/STI disagrees.

True, but they're still less than ideal in terms of performance. Turbos like equal length headers. Not sure how measurable the difference is, but it makes sense as to why.

We are completely off topic, but to give a bit of quantity to it, an STI pushing 400+ whp saw an increase of about 10 whp going with EL. It's just an example and certainly it will be on a case by case basis, but my point is there is difference certainly, but not earth shattering.

It's not the turbo choice or kit that spins bearings
