STI made it in from Japan, quicker then I ever thought.

Engine mounts look like the stock parts, maybe I can see more of a difference when I have the two next to each other.

Close up on the trans mount, much larger rubber sections. I can deflect it with my hands so its not crazy hard.

Not sure when I will get to install these, Stop Tech kit also showed up at my door today.

^^^ that picture is on my kitchen counter. I ordered the parts on the 12th showed up on my door on the 19th. That's faster then some US vendors.

Got them from Japan parts, the website will show prices and shipping.

It looks like there is a good chance the perrin part would work but I don't know for sure.

I wanted to try this full replacement part because I think the other aftermarket parts are more of a band aid for the issue

I always prefer STI's quality. I assume that if they're going to take as long as they do to come out with a part it's because they want the quality to be top-notch.

Freight delivery never showed up at work today so I had some time to kill in the shop. Got to install the STI mounts.

Install was super easy compared to my old 08 STI. Motor has to be lifted pretty high to get the driver side mount out. It slides out the front of the subframe while the passenger comes out the back. Passenger side is a snap with an aftermarket over and front pipe, might be tighter with factory cat in the way.

First drive down the road I was shocked at the improvement. No more lurch in the driveline, it just goes. Really no NVH to speak of for now, I did notice the stupid low idle is a little more noticeable but its not a big deal at all.

Comparing to the Cusco and Group N mounts I had in my STI, these are very similar to the Group N mounts. Noticeably firmer with out being over kill like the Cusco's.

Overall I couldn't be happier, highly recommend.

I want the engine mounts but it seems like a PITA to install. Perfect when I need to change the spark plugs tho. Then again hopefully when that time comes i'll have a new car.

Aw cmon buddy. Undo the two nuts under the subframe, put a block of wood on your jack saddle and then jack up the engine at the oil pan. Not hard. Just not spacious.

Buy me the mounts and I'll take pictures for you :-P

Like I said, it's not spacious. You can probably do it without flex sockets, but you'll probably want them. Might pick up a flex 14mm 3/8" drive. I know on the EJ I had to turn a wrench by putting it through the box end of another wrench.
