Yessss. Someone baller get those engine mounts and review them.

I wonder if these are the same exact parts as the TRD mounts.

They are up on Japanparts. $227 for the engine mounts, $143 for the trans mount. How does that compare with Cusco? It's cheaper than the Perrin solid mounts.
The STi bushings and mounts were never outrageously priced compared to some of the other items. |
Ha! Just saw these on Japanparts, linked their sad photos (EJ parts), got corrected by Orbital for being lazy and not noticing this thread, then realized I had the STI catalogues link myself, so I linked those pics instead. Glad this thread is here. I gotchu covered over on NASIOC BRZ Forum.

Those look sexy as hell, but whiteline has us covered for most of those. I wonder how the two different approaches will differ in feel and performance?
Those engine mounts are going on my list though! I thought I was done with buying mounts and bushings, damn. |
From the looks of it these are hard rubber mounts vs. most of the aftermarket which are poly. I don't have experience with STI mounts, but in the Honda world I have had a couple cars with the Mugen hard rubber bushings and for a DD I would much rather have the hard rubber vs. the poly mounts. Still have the improved response, but not the direct translation of vibration in a lot of cases.

I had Group N transmission mount for my WRX. I enjoyed it. I'm hoping these are pretty much the exact same thing. No reason they shouldn't be. I had bought engine mounts, too, but decided I didn't want to hassle with them at the time so I sold them. Will definitely hassle with them this time around, though.

I don't consider myself to baller but I'm in to buy a set of engine/trans mounts. I had Cusco and Group N mounts in my sti and loved the Group N much more.
Nothing better then over night parts from Japan. (not really paying for overnight shipping) I can use these as an excuse to also pick up the gurney flap for my wing. |
Does anyone know if the differential bushings will be legal for scca st?

I guess without knowing what the oem bushings look like, it's tough to tell.
