No. I should mention that I'm covered for anyone driving the vehicle as long as they have had their license for more than 5 years. All my extras (R100,000 worth) are covered for free. I get the regulars, roadside assist and so on, for free as well. My previous insurer quoted me R1,200. |

Best I got was Auto & Gen - around R800.
Did you guys get cover refused if you did not install a tracking device? I'm paranoid about tracking devices. One guy even said that they could use this information to refute your claim. Alexander Forbes will cover events. Here is the correspondence I received: Quote:

Hell I'm getting ripped off, but I have been damned unlucky in the past 2 years - 2 claims - neither my fault!
R1250 (with professional use) (also standalone - no household contents) 30 Excess is R2k Trackday cover? You get that??? And a tracker was mandatory for any car over R250k. Last edited by Vic_RSA; 04-23-2013 at 08:13 AM. |

I lost it last night on John Vorster in Randpark Ridge. I said it before. There is no warning when the grip will fail. There I was cruising down the road, next thing I start spinning. Over the island and I ended up on the other side of the road, on the curb. All airbags deployed. Front suspension shot and exhaust hanging real low.
