Insurance: Evo vs BRZ
If I pay 115 a month for full coverage on my 2011 Evo X should I expect it to go up, down or be about the same with the BRZ? No wrecks, 1 ticket, defensive driving, and 26 male in DFW, TX.

No one shares your exact insurance criteria with you, too many variables to say for sure. Best bet is to call your insurance agent/company, as well as several competitors to get quotes.

I had the same issue with my agent when I called to get a quote. She did a manual quote with the vehicle parameters I gave her describing the BRZ, and when I actually got the car, it was within $5-10/month of the initial quote.

Just goto autotrader.com or cars.com and locate a BRZ and use that VIN to get a real estimate.

In DFW you say? Contact Phoenix Insurance
Personally, I talked to Jason Olson 214-253-0570 (Office) They hunt down the best deal for you but then also look for who will actually be best for you. In a few hours he had quotes from all companies (big and small) that could cover me and he said X was cheapest but Y is pretty cheap and a better company. |

Feels nice to have supportive seats and a steering wheel that gives you feedback, doesnt it?

For a reference, I have just about the same variables as you. I go with Progressive and my 06 Evo was $190 a month. The FR-S went down to $80 a month.
