I'm also in the market for a helmet, considering it to be an investment for autoX and HPDE's in the future so looking for an SA 2010.

I know that the helmet sizes have measurements, but what exactly is this a measurement of? (i.e. if I'm going to make the measurement myself, what should I be measuring? With or without glasses?)

I bought my last helmet here: http://stores.ebay.com/G-FORCE-Outlet-Store

Discontinued items (not always available in the size you want), no returns allowed, but fairly cheap. I picked up a Snell M2010 closed face for use on my motorcycle, and it's now my autocross helmet as the bike motor has done blown up.

I Have the HJC CL-16, which is M2010, so okay for autocross, but not for track. I don't wear glasses, but I probably could in it if I wanted to. I think I got it for about $120?

I had the same thoughts prior to purchasing my helmet, but decided it was easier to just throw on contact lenses for those days.

Would you mind sharing where? Feel free to PM if needed. I'm in the market for one.

You could get contacts, that would allow you freedom to wear any helmet?

No reputable racing supply retailers near you? I consider helmets as something to buy in person from a knowledgeable person to help with fit.
