Need Helmet Advice

I need a new autocross helmet that is 2010 Snell rated and closed face. The kicker is that I wear glasses and need a helmet where it's easy to slip on your glasses with the helmet on. I really don't want to spend much more than $200. My son just bought a Bell where it is next to impossible to wear glasses since the padding routes the frames away from your ears. Any suggestions?

$200 is hard to find a SA2010 closed face helmet.

The Bell Infusion EV is very good for people who wear glasses, as is the Bell M4 (I have an SA2005 M4 pro and love it, I also wear glasses)

The pyrotect SA2010 helmet is also good, but I haven't tried one with glasses.

I got my Bell from saferacer

I've used my sun glasses with mine before and it works well and has a removable shield

If you're really set on <$200...the Zamp helmets are good bang for the buck

I know this does not fit your $200 budget but If you could eek out another $100 i highly recommend and love my HJC AR10 II (and the AR10 before it) and it fits glasses with ease.

I got the Simpson Voyager, and it has good glasses fit for a full face. Not in your budget range, but that's where I ended up.

+1, I use this helmet and I haven't had an issue with wearing glasses.

I just got one for $269 with free shipping. I also have glasses and no problem there.

HJC helmets are terrific. If your glasses fit in one of them, do that. I have the SI-12 (a bit above your price range) and being that it's under 3lbs makes it unbelievably comfortable.

You should easily be able to find an M Snell rated helmet for under $200, HJC is a pretty good brand - but find a Motorcycle shop and try on as many helmets as possible to see what brand/models/size fit you best. SA is overkill for autocross, unless you also may do track days as well then it would be the necessary way to go. If you only autocross, then I'd go with a nice M rated helmet for $200, most of the nice affordable SA helmets will be $300-$400.

Thanks for the help guys. I took your advise and went with the HJC AR10 II. It fit the best out of the ones I tried.

If you're going to buy a helmet to use in a car, get an SA. Why buy a helmet you can use in your car but not on a real track?

I thought about the track issue and agree. Again I ended up buying the HJC AR10 II. 2010 Snell and SA.
