research before you buy that setup to get the "stanced" look when you really don't know what you're getting into. Tire size, camber and height play big roles when it comes to fitment or how much room you'll have. Seems the FR-S has a lot of room all around but haven't spent any time with on in that wheel fitment sense.

Post photos of your setup with the new coils:

I want the "slammed" look, with the most concavity on the wheels I can get, but if I can avoid rubbing that would be GREAT!

In my opinion, go for 18x8.75 all around, with et35. 9.75 and ET20 will poke out way to much and will look shitty unless you like the hellaflush look. Check the previous pages of this thread, plenty of pictures of different setups with different wheel sizes, and choose whatever you like the most

No from what I got is the width of the actual wheel is what makes the concavity not the offset. 20 offset will poke ALOT! Stick with 35 offset, there's enough concavity cause I'm in the same boat as you and it's perfect for me

No. ET 20 and ET 35 will have the same concave face. The only difference is the "space" in the area where the lugnuts go. Compare the black and the white wheels I've posted and you'll see the difference

Agreed on this. ET20 makes only sence if you go for a widebody kit or hellaflush look

Agreed and that's if you run at least full camber that you can possibly get if you have no wide body. But if so you might also need some spacers also to get a flushed look with the widebody fenders.

based on what i have seen in person, the 18x8.75 have the same face for +20 and +35, so either way same concavity. they cast the 18x8.75 +20 and then shave 15mm off the mounting surface, now you have +35..

the 18x9.75 +20 has more concavity, but is only offered in the one offset.

there are people running an 18x9.75 +20 setup all around, and it looks pretty sick, but you will need to stretch and camber and probably do a little fender pulling to keep it from rubbing.

i ordered 18x8.75 +20, with 225/40/18 front and rear, and will mount those up and take some pics for you asap. i am expecting poke, but the stretch and a little camber should clear me fine.

most people seem to be getting the 18x8.75 +35 all around because it looks flush and doesn't require much stretch or camber. since these are just as concave as the +20, then either one you have the same look concave-wise.

for reference:
18X9.75 +20 all around
