For those that don't know, you're not obligated to have insurance on a motorcycle in the state of Florida. If his bike was running, he probably didn't have insurance, and figured he'd cut his losses with a trip to the ER and repairing his bike later.
You have very good detective skills, my friend. It looked like a pile of plastic bits to me, but it's definitely this bike, you're correct.

Would I get flamed for telling that truth that the two bikes that seem to attract the most douches are in fact the Hayabusa and GSX-R? Just asking.

In the biking world, we call them SQUIDs (Stupid, Quick, Underdressed, Ignorant, Dangerous), or some variation of that, as opposed to douches, which many of them are. But it goes for lots of sports bikes. The Hayabusa is definitely a huge offender, but other than that it's pretty well split between R1/CBR/GSXR/Ninja.

Florida laws in regards to motorcycling are really silly. I remember when I first got my motorcycle license, I was told that if you were over 21, and you had a driver's license, you could ride a motorcycle without a motorcycle permit to learn. I thought to myself "well, how can an officer even tell how long they've been learning if there's no motorcycle learners permit for those over 21?" Pretty much, there isn't. The result is relatively young guys buying overpowered bikes, and driving them stupidly.

Wow, impressed that he got up. I'm sorry for ur pore car. Honestly though, I miss Florida a lot. Born and raised in Oregon, lived in Florida for 2 years and I can't stand this crapy weather. If it wasn't for the difference in pay and mountain passes, I'd move back.

I'm into bikes I know what a Squid is, lol anyway you aren't kidding about the Hayabusa being a huge offender, that's like the douche's choice. Some are even too lazy to say Hayabusa, they just say "busa". I like sportsbikes but I would think twice about joining that crowd. The squid percentage is extremely high. I like the stand your ground law you people have but it has some issues like what constitutes an actual threat on the person's life and what not.

That's pretty incredible that the bike 1) Spun you around, 2) Was still drivable, 3) Didn't kill the driver already, 4) Isn't required to have insurance in Florida.

And two accidents in the span of 2 months? I'm glad you're alright and it's minor cosmetic damage on the car, but those are some bad odds! Hope everything works out.

Yeah! seems a little unrealistic or even impossible. (not at all saying you are lying) just seems to me that the bike would be destroyed to the point where it would be unrideable - let alone the rider would be injured beyond the point of being able to ride as well. the damage on your car is quite significant.

I ride a CBR600RR and have crashed twice at the track and know what that feels like, but I have never hit something.

Doubtful. Those parts are just pieces of the fairing. The VIN would typically be on the neck of the frame/top of motor.
