Well 2 months after being rear ended I get hit again tonight. I was pulling out of my friends street and it was clear until a crotch rocket came flying around the cornee and hit me. Don't know how fast he was going but he spun my car around and then got back on his bike and took off. Have a hug dent above the drivers side rear wheel and the bumper was on the ground

Looks like it was a Suzuki GSXR 600 or 1000 based on the pieces of fairing, probably between '06-'08 not sure if that helps. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

For those that don't know, you're not obligated to have insurance on a motorcycle in the state of Florida. If his bike was running, he probably didn't have insurance, and figured he'd cut his losses with a trip to the ER and repairing his bike later.

This type of crash you probably would have been 50/50 for fault since you we're pulling out on the street; you'd be stuck with deductible anyways. You're right though, he/she is probably in worse shape.

dori. 03-22-2013 04:28 AM

wow THAT sucks.

not only did you get cheated out of your deductible but you got cheated by the laws of physics too

I'd say check the local hospitals for anyone with a broken hand/arm that reported in shortly after the crash.
