WSU cheese is amazing!

OP was the first time I heard anyone suggesting a change in injectors. (Aside from rumors)

Subaru is using their own injectors on the motor for the Forrester (might be where salesman got the idea? or he's full of b.s.) and likely all future applications but the FRS/BRZ shouldn't change significantly in the near future.

So it seems sort of a poor reason to hold off for 7months waiting to see if the '14 version of the car will have it...

I would like a front camera as well so I don't whack my front lip when parking.

You're making the fatal assumption that everyone else drives as well as you.

-Never locked your keys in the car? There's still a key chime.
-Never left the lights on? Still a light chime.
-Never been in an accident? Still air bags.
-Never drink in the car? Still cupholders.

I could go on. You don't count on these things happening, that's why there are mandated devices to take care of these things.

OP Posted in the FR-S forums, so I'm assuming he wants an FR-S. BeSpoke is garbage at the moment, and a new head unit with support for a backup camera is also something to look forward to.

OP asked the question, but I think it's fair to give him insight. Obviously he's on the edge, and perhaps one of these features is something he wouldn't mind waiting for.

Uh, if the 2015 has a flux capacitor, then you don't have to wait for anything, ever!

I'm told all current '13 models have different injectors, and upgraded ECU settings/capabilities to counter the issues in the first few months of release.

can anyone verify that? (it's coming from a sales rep). Would you wait for a 2014?

Are you picking up another one? I thought you just got rid of yours not too long ago..

Of course it's gonna seem bad when you come to this forum and read the issues section, but in reality I believe that only something like 5% of owners were experiencing issues, iirc.
I got mine in Feb of 2013. I don't have the condensation problem in the taillights. I read somewhere here about misalignment of the body parts/panels, which I don't seem to have. My trunk has been working fine, and I don't think I have the chirping, but then again I'm not 100% sure what the chirping is supposed to sound like (400 miles now). My pops however keeps complaining that there is a weird sound coming from the engine bay and that it is louder than it should be. He's also used to driving oldsmobiles, buicks, and currently driving a camry so he may not be used to an engine of this class.
