This. There's absolutely no need for any tools or taking the box off or anything. Pop open the two metal clips, take out the factory filter, notice that (if you're at the front of the car looking back at the engine) the squared corner is in the bottom left. Make sure you orient and install the new filter in the same direction and clip it closed. I installed mine in about a minute.
