Yeah, what is it with this? Took the car out to lunch today and some guy in a boring 4 door sedan was tailgating me so close to the point that I couldn't even see his headlights/hood, and I was already going 5 over the speed limit. I don't understand it...

I drive downtown every day through horrible broken pavements & plenty of potholes with no problem/scraping yet. ![]() the COG is very low.. not the actually ground clearance. You can lower it 1-1.5" and it'll still be a very useable DD.

Maybe he was checkin' out dat foine ass? I dunno, you'd think living in the LA/LB area I'd be getting challenged every second. Only happened once as far as I can tell and I ended up showing the challenger how poorly their car handled turns.

I'm 22 and I have loved everything about this car since word of it first dropped years ago, moving away from all out power and lap times and back to pure driving is a dream for me. I think it's cool as ever and could care less what others think cause real drivers will know what this car is. I finally ordered mine 2 weeks ago and I'm scheduled to get it mid-April and each waiting day seems like a marathon.

i will get technical for a bit here so please bear with me. a vehicle’s dynamic characteristic is a product of both center of mass and center of gravity. referencing from wikipedia, Quote:
in English. When you look at a car as a whole while evaluating the effect of external forces, the reaction from COM and COG would be the same; thus COM and COG is interchangeable. However, the difference between COM and COG is that COM describes mass distribution of an object, while COG describe the gravities effects on that object. with basic newton's law F=MA, where COM is the only the mass part of that equation, while COG is a force(COG=COM(M)x Gravity(A)). Since COG is force acting on the car in the vertical plane, making the car higher or lower does not affect either the Mass or the Gravity on cars. |
