But the Hotchkis camber plates, like the Whiteline top hats, don't allow you to adjust/tweak camber (I think). If I'm not mistaken, if you use the Hotchkis camber plates, you are meant to adjust camber with the crash/camber strut bolts. So if I want to use fixed strut bolts the Hotchkis plates won't work.

Hi Phaedrus,

Hotchkis Camber Plates are completely adjustable. The plate itself is slotted, so it can slide inboard/outboard as desired. The crash bolts allow for even further adjustment. (zero to -3 degrees) You can still use the original strut bolts and acheive up to -1.5 degrees of camber with plates alone.

Cheers,
-Aaron

RCE plates work with stock springs too. They even mentioned it in this very thread.

Ah I see the slots now in a picture. So would the TIC plates have more adjustability than the Hotchkis plates alone?

I thought he was saying the RCE yellow springs work with the stock spring perches. Does RCE even make camber plates for the BRZ?

In the pic the green line represents the fender...Now see how we've moved the upper spring seat and strut mounting point further up effectively giving back bump travel lost when lowering your car.

With other mass-produced off shore camberplates that mount flat from the bottom you end up losing valuable stack height and bump travel.
very good picture, thousand words, good explanation
thanks

Yes, we have plates but have some supply issues at the moment.

Its not difficult at all, provided the plates have the correct hardware to work with what ever dampers and springs are being used.

Hotchkis Camber Plates are sold directly through Hotchkis. They are designed to work with the OE strut with lowering springs or OE springs. They definitely work with Koni's as well. They will also work with coilovers that normally utilize the OE top hat.

Cheers

How's this coming along? Any idea of a restock ETA? Your plates look like they could fill a lot of needs here Andy.

Thanks!
