Not feeling it with these modern cars. It works on the older cars but so far only the Rocket Bunny kit looks appealing, and even then it looks better with the rivets covered over and not exposed.

Looking at the mustang picture above, if you are going to flare it at all it needs to be front and back. If you started the flare lower up front and make it come off the line on the rocker panel it would look better. The rocker has a line that fades upward right in front of rear wheel.

Is Forjworks interest in making these overfenders as dead as this thread or are they still in R&D? Tell you what, the first company to make some overfenders like the one for that mustang will definitely strike gold on a lot of sales. Does the company have any overfenders made already for test fitment or is all we have to go by a few crappy photoshop images?

I contacted Bushwacker here in Portland... they make fender flares for trucks... maybe I can help to get some similar flares for our cars developed.

I will be willing to be the test fitter for you guys.
Think people need to really look at a real photo with a flare kit done to an frs/brz to either say yay or nay.
Nobody will know until it actually has been done. I'm all for it tho!

Flares like these please! Not like the hideous Tom's one that have the flat faces, also not like the ones in the second picture of the original post. I've been trying to get someone to PhotoShop some like the Mustang has for some time, I'm a huge VW fan and love the oldschool flare for the Rabbit. I also have a thing for the Starlet and love the flares you can get for those. Make them!

They never bothered to respond. Disappointing.

I want them! They look awesome. Rivet/fastener attachment would be ideal.

Fender flares are hard to pull of for this car given some of the body/bumper lines and seams. Older cars that have their rear quarter panels go to the bottom of the body are much easier to deal with.

Somebody needs to make a good rear over fender for this car.

Something similar to aimgain except ditch the squared off wheel arches. Keep the width increase to 30-50mm. I'm willing to bet they would sell extremely quick.

Mounting the flares meaning extra width on all fenders, which also means you'd either have to run spacers or change the wheels. Sticking the tire/wheel out the stock fender will cause rub issues and I personally don't want to see that.

There is a guy who tried the ZG flares on his car and see how they ended up looking like:

I'm not sure that I agree with the mounting technique.

Maybe if you had a baby blue car...

Won't the fenders need to be trimmed a little so the wheel doesn't hit the stock lip? If so I don't understand not drilling, if not the wheel arch will be awfully low.
