TOYOTA FT-86....SCION! Back off and get your own sandwich!
Hey people...recent speculation indicates that the FT86 could be released as a SCION
and not TOYOTA. I have created a facebook group for this purpose JOIN NOW and show SUPPORT!http://www.facebook.com/FT86Toyota#!...5142896&ref=mf Last edited by Raiden; 08-07-2010 at 04:39 AM. |

b.) Don't throw around words like 'speculation' and 'most probably' in the same sentence. c.) What the hell is a facebook group going to achieve compared to a car forum?

As for the title, i think it naturally evokes the message of "get off of what is mine and let me have it" secondly, pardon my franglish hehe i think i will edit that if i haven't done so already. Finally, i think creating a facebook group will help reach out to alot of other types of people that are not apart of this or any other ft-86 forum. P.S if anyone of you have a title that you would like to suggest and it's better then mine, i'll gladly change it. |

Ok - its time to stop making new "FT-86 As SCION" forums, cause its bullshit. And not to mention PURE speculation, which means, NO ONE knows wtf is going on with the car, and who is going to get their badge on it. "Strong Speculation" is still speculation, and its still bullshit. Enough with it already.

Yeah this all could be getting out of hand with these thread posts and groups being created, but i rather let toyota know what it's consumers want by making a little noise. I really don't care if im wrong about all this as long as we get what we want; At the same time it draws more interest and demand for the car, heck toyota could even pull the plug on this car being released in north america or anywhere for that matter.

Toyota would probably release the FT86 as a SCION if too many die hard Toyota fans are turned off by the car having a Boxer engine instead of remake of the 4AGE. It is all going to come down to the market research Toyota is probably going to do. There was already a heated arguement on Club4AG about this and the forum was closed.

Raiden, this is the second thread you have made about the FRs becoming a Scion. Isn't one enough? And more importantly, hasn't this topic been talked about enough? It doesn't matter what logo appears on the front hood, trunk lid, and the steering wheel. The concept will still be the same, a lightweight 2.0L boxer engine sports car aimed at the lower end of the pricing spectrum for the RWD sports car segment. That's all we need to know, and all I give a shit about -- see you in two years when the car is released. |
