love love LOVE the Voltex wing!!

It seems like you can afford it, but I'd recommend looking into track insurance. I didn't have it when I hit a tire wall in my old 350Z and insurance didn't cover it. Luckly I was able to sell it to a friend of mine for cheap and got some money back.

Sponsors?... You planning on being on TV man? Unless you're on TV there's little to no value for sponsors.

Love the mod on the guy at 127.7 "baby seat". Maybe that's the next item to try!

Did you drill through the floor and mount the side mount bracket with spreader plates under the floor? I had to do that in my mr2

Not understanding, you gained no extra head clearance?, I'm 6'5'' and looking to gain head clearance with seats while I'm wearing a helmet, I would like to know if you gained any with this set up. Off hand it looks like you have but not sure.

Yep, basically drilled the floor and installed backing plates. I need to ad some washers or some sort of height adjustment because now my seat is too low i want at least one more inch of height.

Ok so when you order Seats you need to get the Side mount's, Seat Bases and rails to mount the seats on. I ordered Planted Seat Bases, Status Side mounts, and OMP Rails with the Status seats. I mounted them with all this hardware and i gained nothing in head clearance since there are 4 things between me and the floor. I took out all the hardware and mounted the side mounts directly to the cars floor, i basically drilled holes in the cars floor and bolted them down with backing plates. With the latter setup i ended up gaining tons of head room since the seats are now mounted directly onto the cars floor. The only downside is that they are fixed now there is no adjustment once they are bolted down.

Yes but not a lot considering my camber is setup fairly conservative right now. I will be playing with the suspension on tuesday to see if i can correct it a bit and ill update you with how that turns out.

Anyways guys i did some maintenance on my car and a friends E46 M3 since we are both getting the cars ready for COTA next week. Enjoy some pics of his beautiful M3 .

Question re the vorshlag camber plates, do the camber and caster adjustments move together as you slide the bearing across? Seems like they are not independent of each other.

I had a lot of static camber in my s2000 and struggled with understeer all season last season. I backed the caster down from 8.0 to 5.4 and BINGO. Knocked nearly two seconds off :happy0180: It's amazing how much time you can pick up when you get the car rotated and can be full throttle before even reaching the apex. Understeer is the devil.
