Sports cars always sale a lot the first year they come out and then it usually tapers off. It won't be rare but I can easily see them being more common than say..WRX's, since they are almost 10 000$ cheaper (here at least).

Except the corvette. A success story!

People need to get over the "I don't want my precious rare underdog car to be well known!" mindset. The original AE86 was a very popular car in its time, and the frs/brz will be too. Cars like the Civic and Eclipse were already being "pimped out" before F&F came out. The movie didn't start the early '00s custom/rice craze, it just made it more popular.

Besides, car mods aren't as distasteful as they used to be. Now there's the whole stance/hellaflush thing, but at least we moved away from bright colors, neon lights, and spinners. If other people want to be a part of car culture, then we should welcome them.

One of the points of this car is that you, the owner of the car has to make the car unique. Its what Toyota wants to see, every single FRS/BRZ speaking about its owner and his/hers lifestyle.

Get working.

distinguish your ride

Who cares how many they sell. Plenty of aftermarket product out there to distunguish your ride. I for one love seeing the car on the road. Although not many as of now. Hopefully more in the spring.

C`mon did we really think an entry level sports car starting at $25k was going to stay a secret? Jack Hollis/Tada-san said from the beginning this was going to be affordable. Despite Jack Hollis`s ambitions of selling 20,000 units in the US a year, I honestly doubt the FRS will sell that many units due to price and our current economy. Plus at the end of the article, the articles states Scion`s combined sales in 2012 was barely half of the RAV4 sales alone. The FRS has already joined the list of historic milestone cars ever to be engineered and produced, isn't that enough to keep your car? Who cares what the ricer next to you does to his car, he has to live with that, not you.

You have your opinion, and I have mine. The BRZ mustache makes it look like a Mazda ripoff and looks pretty awful to me.

UGH... I guess I might be getting another car after this movie is released. Unless it does horrible and no one sees it like FF3-FF5.

Does anyone even watch these movies anymore?
