Guess they knew without it being a scion... they'd probably close down that end of the company. I'm going to rebadge mine to toyota anyway.

You should all move to Australia then. It's a Toyota here, not a Scion, has better standard equipment than the FRS, and it's still rare ;)

This car hits alot of marks for the young and old,....it will be extremely popular and there will be alot of them on the road, for the old guys its reminicent of a Datsun 240z or any of the Triumphs or MG's, not in design but in drivability and that its RWD , for the young its fair priced and will have a multitude of aftermarket to specialize it. For anyone wanting to track it young or old its alot cheaper than a Porsche or BMW or any high dollar car in the expendables department brakes/tires etc...i.e Miata....yeh plan on seeing alot of them on the road.
