Yep, but check out the link in the original post from the OP that goes to the thread I started. Several people have tried that PID and no-one can get it working dammit. Tried with spaces, without spaces etc

This is some cool shit. I've had gauges on all my cars, but think I might be going this route instead.

Ditto. Those are common ones but tried different variations of the oil and nothing.

Could someone go to the official Torque Forum and ask if they could try to implement the extra gauges/features? I don't have my tablet right now, so can't do it..
Maybe someone could give them the list seen on this post : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=18

Just because it's listed, doesn't mean it's going to work. The FA20 doesn't have an oil temperature sensor. Sometimes the vehicle will report an estimated value for some PIDs. Catalyst temperature is a good example. Most vehicles don't have an exhaust temp sensor but will still report an estimated temperature.

I thought there was a oil temp sensor on the oil filter area. I will have to go look.the ecutek software gives me oil temp values.

It is probably a switch and not a sensor, if anything. Most modern cars don't have oil pressure or temp sensors, just switches that engage at a certain point and trigger the dummy light on the dash.

Whilst this is true, we have seen oil temperature readings on different OBD equipment, like ECUtek as posted above. Is it possible it could be to do with the ODB devices that are the problem and not Torque?

I believe this has already been discussed, the problem is the interface used to transmit the oil temperature reading is different than the interface Torque uses to read the ECU parameters (different than OBD2). ANYONE feel free to correct me, but I think that is why you can see it in ECUTek but not Torque.

I have confirmed the one on the right is the oil temp. Watching the ecutek software while the cable is plugged in it reads the correct temp. When I unplug it goes to negative 40. I should be able to scan before and after unplugging the cable to see what pid changes. Of course I cant find my bluetooth dongle for my laptop so I will try the torque scan. But it was crashing before after a long scan.
