(And by the way, I didn't buy Enkei wheels so I am not trying to sell anything)

Plus this is just my personal opinion but 19s look too big for this car.
I agree. I think 18's r perfect as far as looks go. Performance wise id say 17's

Everyone has a different goal with this car.
Buy the wheels that suits your goal the most.
If it is just for looks go with 19 if that makes you happy.
If you want to track it, 19 might not be a good idea.
Some people like 19' but like I said earlier 18' looks the best imo.

Although, I, for myselft, bought 17x7 47offset wheels to minimize the weight gain and keep the genuine stock feel of the car.

So do some more research and buy the wheels that will make you happy. Can't go wrong with that.

18x8 +30 (f) 18x9 +30 (r)

Guys, I haven't heard of this setup mentioned yet, but am considering purchasing a set of wheels in this fitment:

18x8 +30 (front)
18x9 +30 (rear)

I'm fairly confident that I won't have any issues with the rear, however I'm concerned about the +30 in the front. For tires, I am not sure if I should be looking at 225/40 or 215/40 for the front. For the rear's I am thinking about 235/40. I'm currently at stock height, but will be purchasing coilovers within the next 6-9 months. I will not be slamming it, as it's my daily...

I know Miata fitments pretty well, but I'm a newbie still on the FRS. Any help would be appreciated!

Will fit fine. You'll want a little neg camber up front.
225/235 on 8"
245/255 on 9"

My 18x9 +35 are only a few mm away from hitting the stock strut. Those probably won't fit with factory suspension. If it does its not by much.

I am just having a hard time deciding which to get. So much information to take in. I like the S7-F and R5-F the best but don't want to buy a wheel that's to big. As I said I'm not a performance driver and don't track the car. Going for looks mostly. Decisions!!

@jchall30 - Here's mine on the R5-F staggered and I have a special rear offset of +35 which only Troy Sumitomo & I have. I will likely be selling soon since I am planning on tracking the car this year and want to go a bit lighter. They look really good. PM me if your interested.

The +35 offset on the 9.5" rear gives some decent concave.

If I go with the 19's what would be a good tire size recommendation? I plan to lower it one inch. Since I drive so much I will probably have to go with a ultra high performance all season tire. Thanks for all the help so far guys.
