Since you're keeping your 17's for tracking, a 1 inch difference between front and back shouldn't throw off your balance (that you'll notice anyway) on the street. You'll probably notice more of a difference if the widths are staggered as well (wider rears = less oversteer), but again on the street it shouldn't make any difference unless you're driving like a maniac around the neighborhood.

My biggest nitpick would be the size difference in the wells (unless you're making your overall diameter roughly the same by using taller tires on the front).

I cant seem to find any info that will tell me that this is a bad idea for handling etc..?

My friend's NSX has this setup and it ok. but i think they came out from factory with this setup?

any idea's?

Ahh okay. The staggered wheel setup will net you an understeer handling characteristic at the limit. For day to day street driving on surface streets, you won't notice much of a difference.

Yeah thats why i would have the 17's for track days, lower weight etc.
i can also then have two settings for the coilovers.

for driving to and from work, i just want it to look nice.

The biggest thing going for 17s is cost. Tires for 18s and 19s are very expensive.

Tried a set of 235/50/18 (from the Forester). They will rub at both right and left lock on inner fenders. Ohh well, need to buy more wheels and tires.

+38 all round for me. I want a bit of stretch and was hoping someone has run 225s on 9.5 considering how many people purchased work Kiwamis in the group buy.

I run 225/40/18 on 9.5 Kiwamis all round, don't have any pics tho, might try get some this weekend for you but it fits and drives fine, rear is loose enough to get out with stock power too

Thanks for your reply. I knew I'd find someone with that setup on here. Good to hear its not too grippy. What tyres did you go for? Are you running coilovers?

Would highly appreciate it if you could take some snaps for me!

Its handy since yours is a whiteout as well lol. I was looking at the black one, but the silver looks not bad for the RPF01 on the whiteout.
I'm on vacation for 1 week so when I get back home ill take more pictures. The front looks a lot more flush compared to the rears. With wider tires it would make it look a lot more flush
