Here is my anecdote. Had RCE Yellows and SPC lower control arms installed last week, along with the new wheels and tires. The alignment was awful. The guy wouldn't let me leave without an alignment, not that I was stopping him or anything.

What I dont understand is why spend $700 on an install and consider not spending on $80 on optomising it. you are paying way too much

BTW, their are aways shops better suited for this kind of install then subaru or toyota. you are paying way too much. I could do the intall AND alignment one handed in 6 hours they are charging for.

I got my eibach springs installed WITH an alignment for less then $150 and everything came out perfect, including alignment specs better then the started.

any time you change anything in suspension liek stated before minus swaybars or swaybar endlinks , needs to hit the alignment rack

Yup, we charge a flat $200 for spring/strut installs on subies and $100 for the alignment.

The reason the shops charge so much is because the books for some reason show the spring installs at 6hrs and then the alignment on top of that.

We have developed our own "book" on Subaru items since we've done them for so long and know how long on average it takes. These items we have fixed prices on listed on our website. Clients LOVE to see fixed pricing right on our site.

Do you have more pics of your setup? I read you had the STI springs, just wondering what they look like from a few different angles.
