It's a good look but I do see a potential problem. Anything and everything that brushes against the finish whether parked or driving down the highway will leave a buff (scuff) mark that can't be removed. That is unless you strip that particular panel and spray it again.

No, it peels right off and the paint underneath is exactly as it was before.

Be careful with this. It does not peel off as easy as you think. We would know.

Agreed. Great product but after taking it off claybarring was necessary on the section I did as there was adhesive residue. Judging by the removal time of the two strips I did, which was about 1.5 hrs, I'd say the entire car would be about 4-6 hours for removal and claybarring done right, then one would be well served to apply a wax or sealant on the claybarred area as well given the abrasiveness of even the mildest of clays.

Id love to try this on my blue FRS but the whole peeling off thing is sketchy. That and will it really look good 3 months down the line?

If you had problems peeling it off, it's probably because it wasn't applied thick enough (or not enough coats were applied). Personally, I applied four coats and it was very easy to peel off without leaving any sign of residue behind.

I sprayed a trim piece with one coat and then decided that I wanted to leave the trim the original color instead. Peeling it off was a major pain in the ass because the Plasti-Dip was too thin. Taking the advice of others, I put a few more coats on, let it dry for a full day, and then it all peeled right off no problems at all.

Nah mine came off fine as well but did leave a slightly "tacky feel" on the area it was removed from. Maybe even a car wash could have taken off this tackiness but I'm anal so did a claybar..
