Plastidip Clear Flat?

Has anyone used the Clear plastidip that just makes your current color look flat? Reason I ask is I was thinking of doing my roof on my Whiteout with the clear to see how it comes out.

Awhile ago I thought of trying to make a clear bra by spraying clear then glossifier over top of it.

No, but I would love to see how that looks. I have messed around with plastidip on small items and so far have been really impressed with the looks, but never tried it on any exterior items.

Thanks,
Rick

I bought a can just for fun to cover my emblems after blacking them out. I sprayed a small section on the car and it made the paint look extremely dull and rough which made it look terrible.

It would be interesting to see how clear flat plastidip holds up against washing. Sure with a layer of plastidip you'd never really have to wash it but a matte finish will probably hold more dirt.

There are how to videos on coating a whole car posted on a Detailing Bliss thread.
. Check this one out.

PS. I have no connection with this company or anyone connected to it. just thought the info was right along with the info the OP was looking for. I think this stuff is available in clear. Would make a great tempoary bra for long road trips. IMO.
