Thanks! Waiting for Eibach to release their R1 coilovers.. and once I get that with the whiteline RCAs the car will be rolling on some 18x9 TE37SL in pressed graphite (i think I will use the red stickers too).

Kit fitment is amazing.. instruction is in Japanese but extremely detailed with diagrams.. and every single mounting hardware (screws, brackets, tape) was included. Rear bumper is the only pain in the butt because you have to dremel out the stock bumper.

Are you going to the Norcal BBQ meet on Saturday? I am thinking of doing a late registration with my friend DekaMori. Nice! Would love to see another FRS/86 with a kit in Fremont/Milpitas area!

Depending on the hourly rate of the body shop installation cost will vary, but this will be roughly a 7 hour job for the painted version of the kit.

Yes, the non-painted parts are not that much cheaper from TRD. But like I said before, you can only opt for the factory painted kit if you have either a black or a white one

Sounds like you've got a solid plan. Can't go wrong with TE37's. Did you save the instructions? I would really like to take a look at them if you have the capability to scan them.

Absolutely My goal is to build a TRD themed car, but the three things that I have decided NOT to get are the 10k brakes (ridiculous price), the black TRD wheels (7.5 width doesnt quite do it for me), and the TRD coilovers (Most Japanese coilover kits are better suited for the smoother roads over in Japan, and I have more faith with Eibach which is researched, developed, and manufactured here in Califorina and really meant for the roads here)

I will have the exhaust on by next friday, just waiting for some funds to clear up. Will definitely post sound clip

Yes they are, I do save a little bit running a square setup (going for 18 x 9 all around, probably 245/35/18, not sure yet)

My second choice of wheels would be the Weds Sport TC105N in 18 x 8 .. they would have been about 2/3rd the cost of the volks
