That should be a pretty standard bolt. I'm willing to bet many auto parts/fastener stores will carry it. Just measure the thread pitch if you haven't already or just take the other bolt in and have them match it up. Might as well replaced the slightly stripped one anyways, right?

Given that breaking torque of OEM bolts are generally twice the torque spec I think someone put the wrong bolts in that arm.

I replaced the bots with brand new Toyota bolts.

The new one also stripped the threads!

After taking a very close look at it, the new control arms have a slight curve to them. I think that when the nut is being tightened, there is pressure on one side of it. I think that is what is making the threads strip. The torque setting seems extremely high for a fine thread bolt like that. 96 foot pounds.

If I recall correctly, its something like 87 ft lbs on a similar bolt for the s2000.

Dude, just go buy a coarse thread grade 10 bolt and nylon lock nut from the hardware store.

SPC Rear Control Arms: http://ft86speedfactory.com/spc-rear...-arms-436.html

These are the same part number as the WRX control arms.
