can have stretched tire / with good fitment...and still look great.

Edit: This dude's 18" x 9.5" Work Kiwani wheels are both badass and functionally fit the car

I have 9.5" wide +38 Work Kiwamis on my 86 now......10.5" @ +22 would be immense but would require flares to fit. You are looking at 28.6mm sticking out of the guard further (which mine is flush at present) and 12.7mm inside wheel further would have to check clearance of that.

i run x9.5 +25 and.... yea the 10.5 would require a gross pull at least and tons of camber.

So why make such a wide wheel for a car if it wont fit? I've seen 18x10's on this car, is it the offset that doesn't allow it?

they can be made to fit... they just wont bolt right on.
some people are into fitment some arent.
it is the offset.. the +22 in a 10.5 is ~16mm more aggressive than my setup in the rear.. going off that it seems like it would require a 215 or 205 and a good bit of camber and fender work to fit.
these wheels werent made specifically for the car, they were made because everyone loves more concave... id guess this size would be special order for 5x100.
hopefully someone proves me wrong and can fit these with no widebody and less than 5 degrees of negative camber..

Staggered setup is available in many combinations.

Most Work Wheels can be ordered in 5x100, however they keep the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 CR-ultimates readily available in the states due to confirmed fitment and clearance.
Same with the 18x10 Work XD9's.
You can order all of the Work Emotion series in the 5x100. Just need to have patience.

Id like to run the 18x10.5's in the back without a stretched fitment and very little if any camber. Can the offset and everything be setup to have these wheel fit comfortably in the rear with say a 305/35/18

with over fenders and no drop maybe.

I think it should be pretty obvious that this fitment is more for style than anything else when applied to this car.

Or people who need a lot of tire in the back for a high hp build.

Then they should run a 10.5 wheel with +35 or +40 offset instead of +22 so they can actually fit that tire on the car.

Well that's what I was asking, I was wondering if an appropriate performance oriented offset was available. I apologize if I came across unclear.
