I have Enkei RPF1 17x8 +35 offset, waiting for the centric ring on the wheels. Once I get them I'll post some pics on the wheels.

My friend has some 17X8 +32 that he might now use. I want to slap on the stock tires on them and see how that fits.

I believe the RPF01 is coming out in 17x9 +35. that's the one you want since the narrower widths are going to look similar (not flat/concave).

Is there any reason why someone would use a 17x9" wide? Beside looks, I mean wider tires/rims doesn't mean better handling moreover it heavier and diameter of the wheel changes, this could result slower less fun to drive car not to mention higher fuel consumption. But then again it your money, think before you spend those hard earn dollars!

They are coming out in +45 next month at TireRack. +35 will limit tire size unless if you run high camber and it'll be useless up front. Of course some people are into that. There are a few that run +35 RPF1 17x9 on this site, so I'm sure you can source some out if you want that offset. The face/concave will be the same +35 vs. +45.

I saw another wheel in 17x8 +35 you guys might be interested in, Neuspeed RSe05.
http://www.neuspeed.com/880502s-rse0...eel.html#popUp[products]/1/ 17.5 pounds, black or gunmetal, and 57.1 center bore is 1mm more than ours so shouldn't need hubrings. |
