Stick with stock intake, unless you like the sound/look of the aFe. No intake is worth it right now.

Am i risking anything running the aFe with Visconti stg1? I don't want to beat on it too much if it has thrown off his tune that much.

Bolt ons are starting to show big disappointment with this car. Sucks. Our only hope left is a good header, or a full setup WITH header. Other than that, it seems we are well below 200whp unless you decide to do an e85 tune.

Or, you can go with the Glass half full approach and be amazed at the great job Subaru did optimizing the engine and components

Sad to see that adding a intake or headerback does nothing on a already tuned car. Maybe im just spoiled by the easy gains the 8th gen SI got with bolt ons.

That's false. The exhaust made plenty of gains.

Eh, "oh well" to the intakes not being worth the money. I paid $258 for my Injen- the sound and looks gave me something to enjoy.

Hey John, just to make sure you have my email when the RaceROM stuff is ready, it's TyperRspec789@aol.com . I love my new stage 1 tune a ton more than the first one you gave me (which you said was the wrong file). I don't even know if I want anything changed with that tune other than having the RaceROM stuff.

I could have sworn John posted that an exhaust made little difference. He even said a page back its good for sound and new exhaust tips...lol.

I think he's referring to cat backs. I mean if it makes no power, then my car puts down some serious stock power. LOL.

ok gotcha.

Are you on e85 or just pump? I will probably end up doing Ecutek/e85 when the map switching becomes available, but man i wish this car could reach 200whp without it.
