OK, slight revision to the plans. There was no really good place to meet close to food, so we are now going to meet at the Anchor Bank parking lot located at 604 S Tower Ave in Centralia. It is just the right size that we should be able to fill the lot with our cars.

Grab drive-thru food in Centralia/Chehalis on your way to the parking lot. I listed some locations of restaurants in the first post of this topic.

I just finished the trivia contest and scavenger hunt -- took me a few hours, so hopefully I didn't screw anything up. Should be pretty fun.

Are you sure about Anchor Bank parking lot? It looks really small on google maps.

Hey Portlanders, let's drive up to the Mega Meet together, eh?

I'm thinking that we meet at 10:10 just off the Lloyd Center/Rose Garden I-5 exit.

I had planned to meet at an empty parking lot just off the freeway, but it is cabled closed. So...

We'll just meet on 1st Ave between Weidler and Broadway.

We roll out at 10:20. Hop right on I-5 from there, easy as pie.

I drove up there to scout a location. There are bigger locations in the middle of parking lots, but nothing that will be predictably empty on a Sunday. This bank lot was not huge, but should be large enough for all of our cars and will make it look more impressive. 25 cars in the middle of a huge lot would go unnoticed. 25 cars filling a smaller lot will look super cool. 40 cars? Even better! I expect 25-30 cars and this lot will make for good photos.

I'll be there. We should also do a very quick stop at say the Gee Creek Rest Stop (MP11) to hook up with any of the Vancouver folk. More of a roll through the parking lot thing so they can join. They should be ready to roll by 10:30 I would think, just to be on the safe side.
