get 18" rims and slap some tires - thats 1 inch in diameter - should kill a lot of wheel gap .. also it will raise your car by half an inch so you can drop it if the gap is still too big!
![]() WIN WIN ![]() loss is money though :L But that's to be expected haha but yeah that looks fresh

Suspension Review: tein s-tech springs
Hello everyone.
I'm pretty much not into all the technical numbers, springs rates and suspension travel details. All I know is how a car should handle based on it being a daily driver. The springs give a decent drop with about a fingers width gap left between the fender and tire. Pretty low considering it used to be 3 fingers. Any how I followed the installation sheet and cut a ring off the bumpstops ... It said to remove two but the stock bumpstop has only three rings. I don't bottom out at all driving different types of roads. I do know the suspension travel has been greatly compromised. That would explain the slight lowered car "bounce" i use the term loosely. Considering i used the stock dampers, the ride is close to stock but tighter. If your on a long term low budget I don't recommend these springs on stock dampers. If its the look you want and don't care about your dampers to have a shortened life then go for it. I suspect my dampers won't last a total of 6 months with the amount driving i do. It's a lot (7,500miles bought it 5-27-12) I will be getting coilovers to replace just a spring upgrade. I'd enjoy more travel and would definately love being able to adjust my suspension for various activities. (track time, car shows, driving to work, taking my wife out to dinner with out ruining her kidneys from the rough ride in the car.) lol so theres my 2 cents. Joe shmoe any town USA.

How bouncy is it? Is it borderline uncomfortable? I have H Tech's on the way which are a lot milder drop (.9" front, .7" rear). I wanted to get the RaceComp yellows but i got the Teins for about half the price so i couldn't pass it up.

It's borderline drive my wife's rav4 to get groceries... I like the ride on the highway on real smooth roads. I couldn't drive this car in shitty asphalt or crappy roads. I'll loose it.
I can't wait to track it, must be a dream.

Just looked and the rear spring rate is pretty high and with that drop it probably loses a lot of shock travel. I hope my H Techs are a little smoother I got a new Nitto tire that's supposed to have a nice ride too.

Yes 17x7.5. I imagine that with 18's an a low profile tire would look even better!
