Thanks, I read that tread, I think it was more of an install error then the springs themselves... but Ill take one for the team and let you guys know how things go

While on some very bumpy roads, the tire seems to be not in contact with the road because the springs shorten the suspension travel. |

What do you mean? Is it worth the trouble to lower on just springs and stocks? Or should someone just go directly to coilovers?

I was thinking about getting coils as well, but decided on springs. Not because im cheap or anything but simply because im not going to jack up the car every other day and change the ride height.

Btw for those who have STech, did you also notice a negative camber on the back wheel? I just notice it yesterday

Yes negative camber, I'm still trying to do some research what I can do to fix that camber. Uneven tire wear will seriously piss me off... Other than that the ride is acceptable. Nothing like coilovers but it'll do for now to get rid of that ugly gap. What I don't like is that now that it's lowered, everyone in Miami wants to street race. Wtf?

^Agree on the wheel gap thing.
The stock setup already feels more slammed with less ground clearance than any other car I've lowered in the past so I'm figuring out a way reduce that ugly wheel gap without hurting ground clearance. I might go for a super mild drop < 1" and taller 225/45 tires to fill in the wheel gap a few mm and raise the car up a few mm closer to stock ground clearance. This ought to work great if you have a lip kit you don't want to scrape everywhere you go.

I wish a mfr would design a damper with a shorter shaft and casing in order to get of rid of that ugly ass gap :/
